Mary Loehrke

2nd Grade

I graduated from Bowling Green University in Ohio. My husband, Craig, is an engineer. We have four children. Elisabeth is an attorney and lives in Minnesota with her husband Karsten and their sons Lukas and Leif. Our son Joshua and his wife, Diana, are both engineers. They have a son Caleb  and they’re currently living in Minnesota where Josh is in graduate school. Meghan lives in Oklahoma City. She is an accountant for Corken Industries. Our youngest daughter, Bethany, and her husband Drew live in North Liberty, Iowa. She’s a speech and hearing therapist. We miss our children who live out of state, but try very hard to see them all often.

I enjoy reading, cooking, crocheting, and most of all working with children. I like to share my interests with the children and learn about theirs. Second graders are a wonderful age- very open to new experiences and challenges. Their enthusiasm helps make this a great learning year.
