I graduated from Bowling Green University in Ohio.  My husband, Craig, is an engineer.  We have four children (all Deer Creek graduates) and eight grandchildren.  They are scattered around the country—Minnesota, Georgia, Illinois, and South Dakota, and we spend a lot of the summer visiting them and enjoying our grandchildren!

I enjoy reading, cooking, crocheting, and most of all being with children.  I like to share my interests with the children and learn about theirs. Second graders are a wonderful age—very open to new experiences and challenges.  They especially enjoy the chicks we hatch each spring.  Their enthusiasm and curiosity make second grade a great learning year!
