I couldn’t be more excited about the opportunity to teach at Prairie Vale! Everyone has been so warm and gracious to me and I truly appreciate it.
I am married to my husband, Chris, and we have 3 beautiful children. Gunnar is in Mrs. Jackson’s 5th grade class and my oldest daughter, Chandler is in Mrs. Gilley’s 4th grade class. My youngest daughter, Baustyn, still attends Crossings Christian School and is in their Pre-School program.

I have played volleyball every since the 7th grade and played all the way through college so this is definitely one of my loves. I also enjoy going to my kid’s soccer and volleyball games and being outdoors with them! My husband graduated from OU and could possibly be named one of the biggest football fans ever and I am a Longhorn, so you can imagine what the first couple of weeks in October are like at our house each year! 

This will be my 12th year to teach but really my first year to teach second grade. I taught first grade at Crossings Christian School and at James L. Dennis in Putnam City. I also taught at SNU School for Children with a mixed first and second grade group while working on my masters in Early Childhood. Teaching is my passion and I truly enjoy the excitement each day brings. I feel it is a privilege to be such a big part of a child’s life and pray each day that I make choices that will affect your child in the most positive way possible.
