James Gibbs

 Welcome to Mr. Gibbs’ class. I graduated in May of 2001 from Oklahoma Christian
University with a degree in Psychology. While working on that degree I had the
opportunity to work with children in a Kumon Learning Center, Education
Encounters, for 4 years. This experience opened my eyes to teaching, and made me
consider a career change. In August of 2002 I began working towards becoming a
teacher, and graduated in December of 2004.
While working on my education degree I met my beautiful wife, who is also a
teacher in Yukon. We were married on June 11th (which happens to be my mothers
birth day) 2005. We love to travel, take our pup to PetSmart, play board games,
or just sit around and relax. We currently have 2 dogs, Duke and Maddie (our 70
lb. pup), and 1 cat Charlie.
