Speech Language Pathologist

Hi! My name is Jennifer Gates and I am thrilled to begin the school year as the speech-language pathologist at Prairie Vale Elementary! My professional background includes working with people from 2 years up to 101 years of age with speech and language difficulties. Through my experiences I have found working with children to be my passion. Helping children increase their self esteem and academic success by enabling them to improve their speech and language brings me great joy!

I have earned a bachelors degree from the University of Oklahoma and a masters degree from the University of Central Oklahoma. I have been a licensed, certified speech-language pathologist for four years. During this time, I have provided services for a wide range of communication disorders.

My husband, Jason, and I are newlyweds! We were married on July 1st. Introducing his dog, Mollie, to my two cats, Sophie and Simon, has been quite chaotic this summer!

This is going to be an exciting year. I am looking forward to getting to know you all!
