Welcome to Kindergarten. I’m Katherine Gaston. I’m originally from just down the road. I was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I graduated from Northeastern State University with a degree in Elementary Education with Early Childhood and Intermediate Math certifications.

My family and I moved to Edmond from Tulsa five years ago with my husband's civilian company. We were so pleased to find out that we would only be moving a short distance from Tulsa and into such a fantastic area like Edmond. We are very happy to be a part of the Deer Creek community. We have two children here at Prairie Vale. Alexandra is in fifth grade, and Joshua is in third grade. We are all proud to be “Antlers.”

My family and I enjoy reading, watching movies, cheering for the Sooners, and sharing time with our dogs and guinea pig.

This is my fifth year here at Prairie Vale. I am so happy to be teaching here, and I look forward to working with your students. It will be an exciting and wonderful year!
