I graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. I later returned to college and completed my Masters of Education in Early Childhood at The University of Central Oklahoma. In 2001, I obtained the highest certification that an educator can receive as a National Board Certified Teacher.

My teaching experience has mostly been in Deer Creek. I taught one year in Texas as a reading specialist for 5th and 6th grades. After that I returned to Oklahoma and began teaching in Deer Creek Public Schools. I have three years of experience in 2nd grade, 8 years in 3rd grade, and 1 year as the Reading/Gifted Teacher.

On a more personal note, my husband, Pat, and I have two beautiful daughters. We enjoy spending time together and cheering for OSU!!!!
