Hello! My name is Tricia Curtin Cochlin and I am a proud 3rd grade teacher at Prairie Vale Elementary School! I am a native of Watonga, Oklahoma, but currently reside in Edmond. I initially graduated in 1992 with a Bachelor of Music degree from Oklahoma City University and then continued my education at the University of Central Oklahoma. Upon completion of my student teaching here at Prairie Vale in 1998, I received certification in Elementary Education. In 1999 I began teaching for Okarche Public Schools as a 5th grade classroom teacher and 4th, 5th, and 6th grade music. In the fall of 2001 I was very excited to be able to come back and begin teaching again here at Prairie Vale.

In addition to teaching, I have a wonderful family and many friends. The pride and joy of my life is my son Patrick who will be joining me here at Prairie Vale. His curiosity, eagerness to learn, and enthusiasm for being a student have really brought about a new heightened sense for teaching and of the world around us.

Along with teaching and music, I have several other interests! Patrick and I enjoy caring for our cat “Spidey”! It's my opinion, and justly so, that the University of Oklahoma football team is the greatest college football team in the country. I also enjoy cooking, snow skiing, visiting with friends, and traveling.
