My family and I recently moved to Oklahoma from West Plains, Missouri where I taught for nine years in an elementary/middle school. Even though I will miss my school family I look forward to becoming part of a new one where I can educate and encourage students of all ages about the importance of creativity through art!

I graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science in Education and a Bachelor of Fine Arts with an emphasis in graphic design. I also began working towards a Masters of Science in Elementary Education from Southwest Baptist University.

My husband, Rick, and I have two beautiful daughters, Taylor and Kate. When I am not working I love spending time outdoors with my family, drawing, or reading a good book.

I am so excited to be able to teach at Prairie Vale and I look forward to getting to know all the students, parents, and faculty!
