   • Motion made and carried to accept minutes as being read.
   • Pelican Bay nights will be Fri Aug 15th, 2008 & Sun Aug 24th, 2008.
2. Treasurer’s Report-Jeannine Rickards
   • Motion made and carried to accept treasurer’s report.

Committee Reports:

1. Antler Day-Kerri Barclay
   • Still need several volunteers.
   • Trying to get snacks and water donated from Crest.

Principals Report – Michelle Anderson:

1. 5 teachers will not be returning for the 2008-2009 school year
   • Mrs. Sullivan

2. Each teacher should receive $238 from the PVAY auction

:Unfinished Business-Shelley Crull:

1. Funds proposals on how to spend money raised this school year.
   • Purchase new Riso graph and the company purchasing from will give us a new copy machine for free--Motion made and carried by a unanimous vote.
   • Repainting and tiling the cafeteria--Motion made and carried by a unanimous vote.
   • Allocate money for the 2nd PTO sponsored educational program for 2008-2009 school year--Motion made and carried by a unanimous vote.
   • Allocate money to be split by the 5 new teachers that will be coming in for the 2008-2009 school yea--Motion made and carried by a unanimous vote.
   • Provide money to the Deer Mom’s for supplies--Motion made and carried by a unanimous vote.
   • Purchase new copier printer to be used for 3rd grade Renaissance math program--Motion made and carried by a unanimous vote.
   • All carry over money will go into the school improvement fund.
2. PTO has decided to go to one fund raiser for the 2008-2009 school year
   • Vote was held on whether the fund raiser should be the Carnival or PVAY and PVAY won by a unanimous vote, so PVAY will be the PTO fund raiser for the 2008-2009 school year.
